Relocation planning
Employee relocation to Israel: an HR planning checklist
A practical way to coordinate work authorization, housing and arrival support before an international team moves to Israel.

Start with the assignment, not the flight
Define the role, intended work location, expected assignment length and employee count. These details shape housing needs and the questions an immigration adviser must assess. A travel booking is not evidence that the employee is authorized to work. Separate the planned arrival date from the date on which work can lawfully begin.
Give each workstream an owner
Use one shared tracker with a named owner for immigration, the lease, utilities, furniture and transport. Record the next action, the person responsible and the evidence needed to close the task. Mark a government application as submitted or under review, rather than completed merely because an appointment has been booked.
Define the arrival handover
Before arrival, confirm where the employee will sleep, who will provide the keys and how they will reach the property. Include a fallback for a delayed flight or an unavailable apartment. FullSettleIL can coordinate the practical settlement tasks; government approvals and specialist legal decisions remain with the responsible authorities and professionals.
Practical checklist
- Confirm role and work location
- Name an owner for every task
- Separate pending approvals from completed tasks
- Prepare an arrival contact and fallback
